Rainbow over the River Liffey

The River Liffey is Dublin’s most famous river and flows through the city centre. The name is derived from Magh Life – An Life, or the plain of Life in County Kildare through which the river flows.

A gentle rain shower accompanied me as I walked along it today. It would be nice to see it cleaned up. I believe we could do it. It is an amazing resource for residents and workers in the city and is under-utilized.

  1. Jeanette –

Congratulations on your rich reflections on the River Liffey. I am glad that you have appreciated the Liffey and loved walking by its banks and being enriched as it flows through Dublin.

I hope you are doing well these days.

    Blessings.
