“An affirmation is a strong, positive statement that something is already so.”
One of my coping mechanisms and personal mantras when growing up in a conflict zone was “it’s not safe to share what I feel or think. I might get killed.”
This was a negative belief and lie from the pit of hell to frighten, silence and oppress. Uncovering lies and limiting beliefs is a necessary part of the healing and recovery process in our lives. I dissolve them with directly opposite positive affirmations. For example, today my creative affirmation which I wholeheartedly believe in is:
My creativity heals myself and others.
