Leadership. ATP Victor Marx reaching ISIS kids in Syria

It gives me great joy to highlight leader’s and organizations that are really making a difference in the world. And especially those who are fighting to help set children free from oppressive circumstances. One such leader is Victor Marx of ATP Ministries. Victor is an x-marine and martial arts expert. We met in Colorado Springs and his story of overcoming extreme childhood trauma has stayed with me.

Founded in 2003, All Things Possible Ministries, is a faith-based organization that works on a global scale to free children from abuse. Their last high risk short term mission trip was difficult. They went into a Syrian refugee camp to reach thousands of children from ISIS families.

It was no small task getting into this heavily guarded and protected confinement camp which holds the largest group of captured or surrendered ISIS fighters’ families. According to ATP 85% of the refugees are teenagers and young children.

Victor and Eileen Marx and Team ATP were able to get in and deliver a truckload of Lions and Lambs trauma healing toys, dignity kits for young women and a comic book version of Victor’s story of childhood trauma. “So many children in this camp are hurting, lonely, scared and angry. The time is now for the opportunity to bring light into such darkness in one place. It’s like a prophet of Jonah moment in history,” said Victor.

If you’d like to support this ministry i.e. send more teams and resources into the camp where more than 30 countries of foreign ISIS fighters and their families are represented, go to the link below.
